From the figure given above DH is a part of triangle DHB where it shows that it is a 30-60-90 triangle. The hypotenuse is given to have a measurement of 11. We can use the definition of the sine function of this angle. We do as follows:

sin (30) = opposite length / hypotenuse
sin (30) = DH / 11
DH = 5.5
