First, we need both equations to be in the y-intercept form.
3x-5y=7 Subtract 3x on both sides
-5y=-3x+7 Divide by -5 on both sides
y=0.6x-1.4
2y-9x=8 Add 9x on both sides
2y=9x+8 Divide by 2 on both sides
y=4.5x+4
The equation of the line is y=0.6x+4.
