Parts of Germany's territory was given to France, including Alsace-Lorraine, as well as other territories to other allies, including Poland, Belgium, and Denmark.
A demilitarizing zone was also established in which Germany cannot enter into the area.
Thirdly, Germany's armed forces was cut off, and it was only allowed a small police force with no military grade-weapons.
