Because the triangle is iscosceles, the two angles on the same leg are the same. So the equation will be
angle 1 = angle 2
5x = 3x +20

Now, solve it
5x = 3x + 20
5x - 3x = 20
2x = 20
x = 20/2
x = 10

The value of x is 10
