Convert the mixed number into a fraction. To do this, multiply the denominator by the whole number, and add the numerator. 5*4+3=23. Then put that over the denominator.

So we now have 23/5 * 7. To multiply fractions, multiply the numerators together and the denominators together.

(23*7)/5 = 161/5 or 32.2
