Write the expressions as a difference and simplify it: 17x−13y+8 and 20x+6y.

Answer: -3x -19y +8

Explanation:

we have two expressions 17x -13y +8

and  20x +6y

difference = 17x -13y +8 -(20x+6y)            (1)

Now, when we open the bracket and there is a negative sign before it sign inside the bracket gets changed above equation (1)  will be written as

17x - 13y +8 - 20x -6y

Now, we can simplify the above expression we will get

-3x - 19y +8
