While racial justice advocates might seem to be cheered by the use of dna databases in identifying perpetrators of crimes, what potential grounds for injustice do these databases create?
DNA databases are widely accepted as a greater good to the population at the expense of personal privacy. If the DNA collection in a crime is from an identical twin then the innocent twin can and will also be implicated. Also the error on testing is always there as nothing is perfect.
