4x + 12 /a = y. 1. Expand the bracket(s)
4x + 12 = ay. 2. Times by a
4x = ay - 12. 3. Subtract 12
X = (ay - 12)/4 4. Divide by 4

Answer= X = (Ay - 12) / 4
