Through Pico and Dürer's paintings, they focussed their subject on the glorification of humans and human or individual achievement. During the Renaissance time period, there was an extremely positive view of humanity, and in their work, they glorified this view of humanism, education, intellect and would often depict characters or scenes within narratives, imagery, and symbols which referred to this idea of the greatness and prowess of humans.
