5(2n – 2) = 5(23n + 10)

10n - 10 = 115n + 50

10n - 115n = 50 + 10

-105n = 60

105n = -60

105n/105 = -60/105

n = -4/7

5(2n-2)=5(23n+10)  divide both sides by 5

2n-2=23n+10  add 2 to both sides

2n=23n+12  subtract 23n from both sides

-21n=12  divide both sides by -21

n=-12/21 simplify

n=-4/7
