Class “B” fire extinguishers are best suited to fight: Liquid fires
Liquid fires (such as alcohol, gasoline, and oil-based paints) could be put off by dry chemical extinguishers. The class "B" fire extinguishers contain sodium bicarbonate that will act as dry chemical extinguishers.
