Explanation:

Since the y-intercepts are the same and their slopes are different, they have a solution because if a slope is positive, the line would start from the origin and continuously increase and if a slope is negative, the line would start from the top and continuously decrease. A solution is an intersection between two lines. Please look at my graph for proof. The solution is (0,5).
