How do you find the sum of 4/10 and 55/100?

[tex]\frac{ 4}{10}+\frac{55}{100}=\\ \\their \ lcd \ is \ 100\\ \\ =\frac{ 40}{100}+\frac{55}{100} =\frac{95}{100}=\frac{19}{20}[/tex]

Just need the LCD
That's 100 so
[tex] \frac{4}{10} [/tex]⇒[tex] \frac{40}{100} [/tex] and [tex] \frac{40}{100} [/tex] + [tex] \frac{55}{100} [/tex] = [tex] \frac{95}{100}[/tex] OR just 19/20
