To find slope you use this equation y2-y1/x2-x1
Y2=2
Y1=-9
X2=8
X1=5
So you plug them in to the equation
2- -9/ 8-5
2- -9 is 11
8-5 is 3
11/3 is 3.6
3.6 is the decimal form
The fraction form is 3 3/5
So your slope is 3.6 or 3/5

Hope this helps *smiles*
