Rewrite  

64  as  

[tex](2^{6})^5^/^6[/tex]  

Apply the power rule and multiply exponents,  

[tex](a^{m})^n=a^{mn}[/tex]

[tex]2^{6}^(^5^/^6^)[/tex]    

Cancel the common factor of    

[tex]2^{6}^(^5^/^6^)[/tex]

Rewrite the expression.

[tex]2^{5}[/tex]

Raise  2  to the power of  5
