Evaluate a + b if a = 0 and b = -20

The answer is -20.

  • The number 0 has no value to it. So we would be adding nothing.
  • 0+-20=-20
Even if we did add 0+20 the value would still be -20

Now if we added 1+-20 would be -19. We would need exactly 20+-20 to get out of the negitives.
