How would clams, oysters, and mussels most likely be affected if the amount of plankton in a large body of water was significantly reduced?

Respuesta :

Clams, oysters, and mussels all feed on plankton. If the plankton was significantly reduced, those animals would miss their largest food source and start starving, leading to their death. Really, this would shake the whole system going on in that body of water. Hope that was what you needed! :)
