A grocery store has a mark up of 30% on a bag of chips. if they purchase the chips for $1.50, what is the selling price of the chips?

well first off you would go 1.50*0.30 which gives you 0.45

now take the original price of the chip bag and add the 0.45

which gives us 0.45+1.50 = 1.95
