= 9 - 2 + 36 - 4
= 9 - 34 - 4
= - 29

Step 1 Brackets: (6-2)=(4)
Step 2 Exponents: 3^2=3•3=9 and (4)^2=4•4=16
Step 3 Division/Multiplication: 8/4=2
Step 4 Addition/Subtraction: 9-2+15=23
