david says 3 square root and 12 square root cannot be added because they are not like terms. Ariel says they are like terms and can be added. Who is right and why
To add them you would just have to simplify 12 square root into [tex]\sqrt{4}[/tex][tex]\sqrt{3}[/tex] and then you can simplify that into 2[tex]\sqrt{3\\}[/tex] and then you would add the other 3 square root
