They get there energy from those because photosynthesis the sun gives them that energy but the sun goes with water too because the sun and the water help it eat and produce its food and then the carbon is for it to breathe and thats how we have oxygen because the plants take in carbon and then they give out oxygen so thats why we need plants and plants need us.
