The difference between larva of silk and bee are:

  • The larva of silk feeds in leaves of mulberry and the larva of bee feeds on royal jelly.
  • The larva of silk completes it's stages in about 25 to 32 days whereas the larva of bee completes it's stages in about 5 to 6 days.
  • The larva of silk is grey in colour whereas the larva of bee are white in colour.
