The variables A, B, and C represent polynomials where A = x2, B = 3x + 2, and C = x - 3. What is AB - C in simplest form?

Since AB is simply A x B, AB would be 2x(3x + 2), which is equivalent to 6x + 4x = 10x. Moving on, C is simply x - 3, which makes the equation 10x - x - 3. As we all know x is basically 1x, we can now say that AB - C in simplest form is 9x - 3. My apologies if my arithmetic or logical mathematics were wrong!
