Rue of Laertes must symbolize and mean something else and not have regular meaning of rue.

Explanation:

In the book "Hamlet" which has been written by Shakespeare, rue has the meaning of adultery, and bitterness. According this book, this was the major reason of most of the miscarriages.

In the book, Ophelia keeps one rue with herself and gives the other rue to Gertrude. But Ophelia tells Gertrude that she must not have this meaning of adultery for her rue. She must wear her rue with a difference.
