Answer:

x=-2

y=4

Using the equations I have been given, I will substitute "x+6" in place of y

3x+2(x+6)=2

distribute:

3x+2x+12=2

combine like terms:

5x+12=2

sub. 12 from both sides:

5x=-10

x=-2

Since we have our "x" value we can plug it in to find our "y" value

3(-2)+2Y=2

-6+2y=2

2y=8

y=4
