√5 /2- 1  or 0.1180 to the nearest 10,000th.

3 sin A = 2

sin A = 2/3

The adjacent ( to < A)  leg of the right  triangle = √(3^2 - 2^2) = √5.

So cot A = adjacent / opposite = √5 / 2

and cot A - 1 =  √5/2  - 1.
