a) h + 2/6 = h- 3/4
<=> h - h = -2/6 - 3/4
<=> 0 = -24/24 = -1
<=> 0 = -1 ( wrong ?)

b) 2x = y + 6
6x - 2y = 13

<=> 3.2x = 3.(y + 6)
6x - 2y = 13

<=> 6x = 3y +18
6x = 2y +13

==> 3y + 18 = 2y + 13 ==> 3y - 2y = 13 - 18 <=> y = -5
We have y = -5 and 6x = 2y +13 ==> 6x = 2. (-5) + 13 = -3
<=> 6x = - 3 <=> x = -3/6 = -1/2
