The thing that carried the back plague was a Rat

The rat wasn't the one that created the virus it was a virus called "Yersinia pestis" which is the one responsible for the rat getting the virus and spreading it. this virus ia a virus-like Ebola

I believe that it was something about a rat biting someone causing the disease to spread.
