Given two point x₁ and x₂ in the real line, its distance is:
distante=[x₂-x₁]  or
distante=[x₁-x₂]


x=-7
x=3

distance=[-7-(3)]=[-7-3]=[-10]=10

Answer: the distance between -7 and 3 is 10.
