According to president roosevelt how did the american people feel about large corporations

They did not trust them. Corporations were not regulated and only had to follow state laws. But as these corporations were represented in different states the federal government decided to regulate them on a federal level. They believed that the greed of the corporations were hurting rather than helping the growth of the nation and economy.
