Please help!! What do the similes “Does it dry up like a raisin in the sun” & “Does it stink like rotten meat” have in common?

Sentences that are similes have the words "like" or "as" in them.

These two sentences are comparing using the word "like".

Well, they do compare "raisins in the sun" & they "stink like rotten meat". Also, the two quotes use the word like and the two quotes compare the raisin to how it would be like or smell.
