After the unification of many tribes , the Mongol Empire grew rapidly under Genghis Khan and his descendants. The empire was based in several invasions on the surrounding lands all through Eurasia. From an ideological stand point Genghis Khan reinforced his power placing restrictions on the religions of those conquered.
