You do 20/45 which simplifies to 4/9

So the speed/fraction for this problem is 4/9 (feet per second)

20ft = 45 sec

divide both by 5 you get

4ft = 9 sec

4ft every 9 seconds would be your answer unless you want a fraction.

1 ft = 2 1/4 seconds
