y⁴ · y³ = y¹

y⁷ - y¹ = 0

y(y⁶ - 1) = 0

y = 0, (y⁶ - 1) = 0

y⁶ = 1

|y| = 1

y = (+/-)1

Answer: y = 0, 1, -1
