10% of 11.60 is 1.60, which means that his first raise will make his rate $12.76 per hour. 10% of 12.76 is 1.276, but since were talking about money I’ll round that up to 1.28.

1.28 plus 12.76 is 14.04, so after two years his rate of pay would be $14.04 per hour
