Across the Sahara, through the Red Sea, from the Indian Ocean ports, and across the Atlantic. The African continent was bled of its human resources via all possible routes. The effects where long lasting and lots of slaves didn't have good owners and they were beaten and some even killed. This time in history wasn't the best but, thankfully everything was resolved :).
