when we jump on a concrete surface , the feet gets injured,why?

Our weight and the concrete are pushing against each other. Since the concerts is obviously harder and heavier, we get hurt and the concrete is not

because the gravity pulls us towards the ground and our bones can’t take the amount of weight hitting the surface
